We have been reading lots of books to Isla since she was a tiny newborn, which felt a little funny as she didn’t really seem all that interested in books at 4 weeks old. As she’s gotten older though, she has taken much more interest in reading and that makes a book lover like me very, very excited. I even posted a list of her favorite books to read here, and you’ll see in this photo that she now loves to read in her crib until she falls asleep (melts my heart!).
When Jane, the co-founder of Bookroo, reached out and shared information about her new company that helps parents build their children’s book libraries easily and affordably, all the while getting kids excited about reading new, fun books, I was sold. As my husband will tell you, I enjoy getting packages at our front door all too much, and receiving books for Isla made it even better.
I adore the mission of Bookroo, as they are helping to spread the word about how important it is to read to kids.
“[Reading] helps them in every facet of their formal education, improves their emotional health and coping abilities, and increases their future earning potential.”
We tried it out this month and received three board books in the mail (you can choose board or picture books) – Little Cub, A Book of Sleep and Little White Rabbit. They were even wrapped pretty! All three are great reads, and although Little Cub is slightly too long for Isla’s attention span at the current moment (but will enjoy it soon!), she absolutely loves the other two.
My one question (which was answered in the FAQs), was “What if I get a book I already have?” Simple. If you receive a book in your package you already own, you can send them a photo of you gifting the book to someone and get $5 off your next subscription. Genius!
We are definitely going to sign up for a subscription, and I think you should give it a try if you like reading new books and want to build your children’s libraries too. Click here to order, and you’ll see a $4 discount appear in your shopping cart at checkout! Sweet, right?
Happy reading!
I received these books at a discount, but all opinions are my own! I will never publicize products or companies I do not firmly believe in.

evolved to use the new forms of technological innovation to promote business and products.
Like everything in business is important, getting a website
is important too. There are lots of commercial templates available, and
frankly, they are beautiful, but I am going
to give you some hints on where to find free
web templates.
