A few months ago, Meredith invited a handful of her friends over to celebrate Cake & Confetti’s second birthday with a garden dinner party that she was hosting at in her back yard. Y’all, it was the most perfect party I have ever attended – hands down. Not only did Meredith decorate everything to the nines, she did the florals herself and made a delicious four course meal (all healthy and vegetarian, so basically a dream come true). Plus, she hand-dyed that backdrop, which may be my favorite detail!
The party was featured on Best Friends for Frosting yesterday here (also posted on their Instagram here). Check out the post and read Meredith’s description of the party. I’m so proud of her, and I cannot wait to see the exciting things that Cake & Confetti has in store in the future.
I’m sharing some additional photos today, as I’ve been bursting at the seams to show you this beautiful party since we sat down to break bread. Some incredibly talented people helped make this party a reality, so to give credit where credit is due:
- Styling, florals, food & location: Meredith @ Cake & Confetti
- Calligraphy & Paper Goods: Jenny @ A Fine Flourish
- Table & Chairs: The Foundry
- Makeup: Brittany @ Butter Artistry
- Photography: Ailee (me!) @ Snapshots by Ailee Petrovic
- Gemstone Chocolate Truffle Favors: Jesi @ Dolce Designs
Guests: Kim of Champagneista, Ashley of Sugar & Cloth, Christina of Christina Leigh Events, Amy (Meredith’s childhood best friend and my friend from high school!), Michelle of Michelle Able Photography, Brittany of Butter Artistry, and Jenny of A Fine Flourish.
