As someone who really appreciates photos, it makes sense that I love Instagram. I don’t have Facebook, so it’s my one social media vice. I try not to check it too often, but my self-control totally went out the window during NYFW. I was constantly scrolling through the pictures of the gorgeous shows – J. Crew! Ugh, perfect. Kate Spade? Gorgeous. Tory Burch? I want it all. However, my favorite part was seeing all of the fashion bloggers dressed to the nines. Some of my favorite looks are below. Which do you like best?
Our Wedding Pictures: Part 2
Et voila – the second half of the wedding (you can see part one here). We had custom cocktails, delicious food, hilarious speeches, and lots and lots and lots of dancing. There was a good mixture of Scottish and Serbian dancing, and of course, plenty of bouncing around to Miley and T-Swift (yes, he’s 32). I was a hot, sweaty mess at the end of the night, as I feel I should have been. I could not have dreamed up a better wedding for the two of us. I’m so happy to have these pictures and go through them time and time again. Love y’all – thanks for reading!

Our Wedding Pictures: Part 1
We got our wedding pictures from Ryan last night, and I was so emotional looking through them. Truly the best day of ours lives, and he captured every moment so beautifully. There are a ton… so be patient! I’m going to post some them today and the rest tomorrow. Below you’ll find picture before and during the ceremony.

I Love Roost
This beautiful, bright wall welcomes you to the intimate Montrose restaurant, Roost. I went two weeks ago to meet one of my good friends, Joy, after having it high on my places to eat forever, and I was not disappointed at all (in fact, we headed back on Saturday for Bryan’s birthday meal!). Joy and I arrived in time for Happy Hour drinks, so got some champagne for an incredible price. I ordered the Brussels Sprout dish (of course), and Joy got the crab cakes. When we went this weekend, everyone raved about how good these two dishes were. While dining with Joy, the Executive Chef, Kevin Naderi, came over to say hello – I hadn’t realized that him and Joy knew each other before, but he was so friendly. The food was seriously phenomenal – I never wanted my dish to end. The place was very crowded when we left around 8:30, and I cannot wait to head back. Roost definitely earned a spot on my Best of Houston list.

Catching Up on Life
Last week was beyond busy with work, which left absolutely zero time to take a mental break and blog. So, to catch up…
> Our engagement pictures were recently featured on Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Book Blog here
> I finally ate at Coppa and Roost (twice) after they’d been on my “must eat at” list for ages and obviously had to add them to my Best of Houston: Restaurants and Coffee list
> We had the best time in Durango: hiking, ziplining, river rafting, and cycling – house above, more pictures soon!
> Celebrated Pierson’s first birthday and Bryan’s 25th! I love birthdays so much.
> Bought this striped chair for our entryway – final pictures of the Manor to come soon!
> Purchased tickets to The Book of Mormon for next weekend… seriously cannot wait
> Found out that we’re going to be Door Openers at Passion 2014 in Houston
> Headed to San Francisco for a day (here now) – fourth time in this beautiful city in 2013 and cannot complain about that
