Happy Fourth Birthday, Emilia Wilkie!

I just had the best trip down memory lane, looking back at photos from Emi’s third birthday, second birthday, and first birthday! It is incredible how fast life is flying by; however, Emi turning four last Friday felt right. She is about to become a big BIG sister in three weeks after all.

Last Thursday, on her Birthday Eve, we snuck off to snap some photos during Isla’s tennis lesson. She had an absolute blast – dancing and playing peek-a-boo behind her balloons. A million people stopped to tell her happy birthday, and after a bunch of “thank yous,” she started telling people she was a T-Rex who was celebrating her fourth birthday. They’re currently studying dinosaurs at school, so it made sense, but also resulted in a lot of chuckles. She is, by far, the funniest Petrovic – always cracking jokes.

Home For Christmas

Happy Boxing Day! Yesterday was one of the best Christmases that I can remember. We celebrated at my parent’s house with my sisters – the girls love spending time with everyone and were spoiled rotten. We’re at home, having a quiet day today, and I realized I never published a long-time drafted holiday decor post! So alas, here it is – post-Christmas!

We setup our Christmas decorations over a month ago, and I have to say that time has truly flown by ever since! We had the help of my friend, Whitney – who owns Whitney Elaine Designs – and I wanted to document how everything looks so I can replicate next year in Austin! She decorated my dream tree in my office – inspired by one of my favorite designers, Caitlin Wilson. It is pink and blue and just as I had dreamed! I am also very grateful for one of my best friends, Monica – who owns Paper Flour Ink – who created gorgeous initial appliqués for my new stockings! She is amazing. I even setup baby girl’s stocking out of excitement (praying time continues to fly by for the next two months until her arrival!).

I was fortunate enough to borrow a lot of her decor for our dining room (except I bought the tree for a steal of a deal from a neighbor/client of mine!), since we are decorating that room very differently in the new house (no more black and white).

Holiday Gift Shopping With Walmart+

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Walmart. The opinions and text are all mine. Thank you for supporting the brands my family loves!

A few months ago, we began shopping using Walmart+, a different kind of membership with many amazing benefits, including free delivery from your store on orders $35+ (restrictions apply), member prices on fuel, and mobile scan & go in stores. And, Walmart+ just launched a new nation-wide benefit: Walmart+ free shipping, no order minimum on items from Walmart.com (excludes freight/oversized & Marketplace items)!  During the Christmas season, expenses and activities add up quickly, and I appreciate any time and money savings I can get! Using Walmart+ can save you up to 2.5 hours per week (savings based on 3 store trips per week and excludes time spent on shopping online – $35 minimum, restrictions apply) and $68 per month (savings based on 2 deliveries per week vs. non-member $7.95 fee – $35 minimum, restrictions apply) with their free delivery from your store benefit.

Pantene’s New Waterless Dry Shampoo and Conditioner

This post is sponsored by Pantene. As always, I only work with brands I love. Thank you for supporting them as well!

I recently got to try the new Pantene Waterless Collection, and I’m a fast convert. I have tried many different dry shampoos, but none have made my hair feel as refreshed and clean as the Pantene Cheat Day Dry Shampoo Foam and Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist. They’re truly the best! As a busy of mom three, I don’t have time to wash my hair every day when I shower – I typically try to only shampoo once or twice a week. Now that I have these products in my regular routine, it is easier to push back hair wash days, and I can already tell that my hair is feeling healthier.

Serena & Lily’s Fall Design Event Sale

Goodness, it feels good to have our pregnancy news no longer be a secret! I cannot wait to share details about baby girl’s nursery – it’s in full motion right now, and I’m dying for things to start arriving. She is going to be “sharing a room with Emi” (as is being told to her at least), but really, baby will get Emi’s room, and her big sister will sleep with Isla until we move. In the new house in Austin, the girls will each have their own room.

One of my favorite places to shop for home decor and furniture is Serena & Lily, and they’re having an amazing 20% off sale right now (with code LOVEHOME). I ordered this Harbour Cane Daybed for the nursery – I love it so much! It should be arriving in the next two weeks – so excited. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite pieces from Serena & Lily and included links below each photo. Happy shopping!
