The weather in Houston is forecast to be sunny, with a high of 86 degrees on Saturday and a low of 67. You can guarantee I’ll be going outside to play. One of my best friends, Andrew, is coming in town from Boston – I’m seriously tickled. Enjoy your weekend!
McKenzie and I really, really like Rifle Paper Co. We have all sorts of cards, notepads, etc., and I was recently browsing their online store and came across this print (which I have as a card). I’m thinking about getting it in the 18×24 size – it will add the perfect floral touch to my room.

I love stumbling across a beautifully decorated home, and that’s what happened today when scouring Sarah Reilly’s blog, Where the Sidewalk Begins. It was featured on The Everygirl in the Spring, and all I’ve got to say is: the girl’s got style. My favorite touches are the little jewelry bowls (similar here), “For Like Ever” decor (found here), and the gorgeous pillows on the couch.
I love the wedding tradition of “something borrowed, something blue.” Especially the blue part, because there is nothing I love more than a pop of blue (check out some of my jewelry for confirmation.) What about those suede turquoise platform pumps below? To die for.

It’s fall, y’all. I know this to be a fact, since I’m currently in Chicago, where the wind feels bitter cold. All of my favorite fashion bloggers have begun posting sweater pictures, and I’m loving the transition from floral, summer get-ups into more muted, deep autumn shades. I’m definitely in the market for some great fall knits. Some of my favorite options right now are at Gap (polka dots!), J.Crew (hearts!), and Madewell (sheep!).
