I was first introduced to Deeann Rieves’ work a few years ago through a college friend of mine. Deeann is incredibly talented, which is evident if you take a look at her website. She also has a blog, and I was looking through pictures the other day and came across beautiful handwritten canvases that she had painted. I immediately fell in love. Later, I looking at Style Me Pretty, and I saw a couple’s wedding pictures taken on scrolled paper, painted in a similar style to Deeann’s canvases. I think it would be so romantic to have multiple white backdrops with the lyrics to you and your fiance’s favorite songs at the entrance of your reception, with photographers taking Polaroid pictures of the guests as they enter using ‘Stickyback’ film so that they can paste the pictures to the guestbook sheets and sign their name next to their faces – a “wedding face book,” if you will.
