Spring is undoubtedly my favorite season of the year. Unfortunately, in Texas, it lasts about a month, as summer arrives quickly, and all you want to wear is a swim suit. It’s been quite a while since I’ve done a roundup post on my favorite looks of the week (last seen here), but I am seriously in love with so many outfits that were posted recently, I had to get started again. Let’s talk about Blair’s shirt, Samantha’s lacey bow dress, and Sarah’s cutout blouse… incredible. Is it impolite to add Julia’s YSL bag on our wedding registry? Ha, kidding. But seriously.
Sasha’s aunt, sister and cousin are throwing me a bridal shower at the end of the month, and I’m beginning my dress hunt. With all of our other expenses right now with the house, I’m trying to be good and not shop too much (quite the challenge). I decided to give myself a $200 limit on the shower dress, and I found a lot of great items. My favorite five (all within the price range) are above. And this one! A late find. Warby Parker, the TOMS of spectacles, are blowing up the blogosphere right now, with big features by some of my favorite blogs, namely Sequins and Stripes and A Piece of Toast. I recently spilled clear nail polish all over my one-year old pair of Prada frames (seriously kicking myself), so it’s time to get a new pair. Thank the good Lord above that Warby Parker frames are super affordable and that Ashley (proud mother of Pierson, featured yesterday) owns an optometry practice and is going to help me get lenses. I am trying to decide between the frames shown below. What are your favorites? I’m torn.
