It finally feels like fall in Houston, so seeing fashion bloggers donning trench coats and thick jackets no longer makes me jealous. Although we’re not quite there yet, I did have to wear a jacket on our evening family walk last night, so I’m excited.
My favorite look this week is definitely Blair Eadie’s bow-centric outfit. Those sequin pants? Those are absolutely incredible.

As a big daddy’s girl, I love Father’s Day so much. This year, it will be extra special for me, as this will be the first time that I celebrate my own daughter’s dad versus just my own. I started doing research for gifts the day before I went into labor, so have frantically been looking to finalize my purchase now that I’m home. With less than a week to go, I’ve ordered Sasha two little things to commemorate his first Father’s Day. I put together a list of some top contenders. What are you buying this year for your dad?

Happy Monday, everyone! We survived our first weekend at home, and Isla is finally getting better sleep at night (she’s be an owl to day). We both slept 7 hours last night which is record since Wednesday. Our Rehearsal Dinner was on Thursday, July 18 at Gundlach Bundschu – we invited our bridal party and family to the dinner, then opened the event up to all guests for drinks at the end of the night. I honestly couldn’t have envisioned a better way to start the wedding festivities. I got to meet some of Sasha’s extended family for the first time and saw some of our Scottish friends whom I haven’t seen in years. A very relaxed evening and a perfect segue to the Big Day.
