Often people pick a party theme, then search for the invitation. Stationery lovers may be inclined to reverse that process (i.e. I totally would). While babies aren’t on my brain personally, lots of Sasha’s friends either have kids or are ready to have them soon, so I’ve been on the lookout for good baby shower material. I found these gorgeous three shower invites on Minted, and decided to brainstorm decorations to complement the cards. BHLDN is the ultimate place for cake stands, vases, garlands, etc. Wedding planning is over, but party planning is ongoing!
Nature-Inspired Invitations
I love these invitations by Suite Paperie so much! So pretty and whimsical.
Mexican Themed Invites
One of my best friends, Kirby, through a shower for a good family friend, Philip, and her college friend, Sydney, this past Saturday, and she sent out the cutest invitations (found here) Since the she shower was being held at Pappasitos, she went with a Mexican theme. I’m borderline obsessed with papel picado, and cannot wait until Paola (another best friend) gets married, so that I can go crazy with this colorful paper (as expressed here). Some other pretty Mexican themed invites below!
DIY Stamp Save the Dates
I love coming across an invitation or Save the Date set that I’m obsessed with – most of them are found on Oh So Beautiful Paper. In fact, that’s where I found my stationery designer, Atheneum Creative. We met to review some options last Friday, and seriously y’all, I had the hardest time picking because I loved them all. I cannot wait to share pictures!
The other day, I totally fell in love with a craft + hot pink set of Save the Date invitations (here). Are they not gorgeous? And very DIY. That stamp from Antiquaria is amazing.
The Best Day Ever
When one of my best friend’s got married last Dallas, she had a great packet for guests and the bridal party with notes on where to go and when. It’s important to have this, especially for a destination wedding. I found the “Tomorrow is going to be the best day ever” set on Oh So Beautiful Paper, and was fawning over it. How cute is that idea? See other creative bridal party agendas below.
