One of my best friends, Kirby, through a shower for a good family friend, Philip, and her college friend, Sydney, this past Saturday, and she sent out the cutest invitations (found here) Since the she shower was being held at Pappasitos, she went with a Mexican theme. I’m borderline obsessed with papel picado, and cannot wait until Paola (another best friend) gets married, so that I can go crazy with this colorful paper (as expressed here). Sasha’s aunt, sister and cousin are throwing me a bridal shower at the end of the month, and I’m beginning my dress hunt. With all of our other expenses right now with the house, I’m trying to be good and not shop too much (quite the challenge).
